MIYAVI was born 14th of September, 1981. He is half-korean|half-japanese, but he was born in Japan and grew up as japanese.
In age of 17 years old Miyavi came to Tokyo and joined band named "Due`le Quartz". He was as guitarist in group until the 2002 year, in which "DLQ" broke up.
After all he changed his name from MIYABI to MIYAVI and started his solo-career.
In 2005 MYV became "major" and did his major-debut.
In 2007 he joined the band, named "S.K.I.N.". In this band are also Yoshiki, Gackt, Sugizo and Ju-ken.
In 2008 Miyavi had his first world your. He gave 33 shows in 14 different countries.
In 2009's spring he started his own company, named "J-Glam Inc", before what he left PSC.
In March, 2009, Miyavi got married with Melody and soon, in summer, 29 July, their first child was born. Parents named her 爱理 (Lovelie). Lovelie Miyavi Ishihara.
In September, 2009, MYV started another world tour, called "NEO TOKYO SAMURAI BLACK WORLD TOUR". Some new countries were included.

MYV officially changed his name from 雅 -miyavi- to 雅 -MIYAVI-! It's a good start of the year. Good luck in New Year with a new name. We are proud of you, MYV!
